Christ Jesus prayed that all those who would believe in Him would be ONE, just as He and the Father are ONE; that they be brought to complete unity so that the world would know that He was sent by the Father. (John 17:20-23)
The question
When the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
Is from Psalm 11:3.
Many preachers have taken this text and used it to show that when the foundations are destroyed, there is nothing the righteous can do.
However, David does not say that.
Instead, he says that the Lord is in his holy temple and that he will rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest upon the wicked
The righteous should put their trust in the Lord and continue to build.
