Reaching Kids with the Gospel

 

Hi Friend, You already know that we do evangelistic events that we call Harvest Crusades, as well as evangelistic films like Jesus Revolution, Fame, and Johnny Cash. But I see another opportunity to creatively bring the gospel to an entirely unique audience. I’m talking about children! Kids need Jesus, too, and they should be told about God’s love in ways that are captivating, understandable, and engaging. Sometimes, especially when it comes to Bible stories, we as adults tend to get serious, somber, and…frankly, boring! Kids need to be reached in ways that hold their attention, engage their imagination, and are fun. That’s why I’m excited about a brand-new evangelism tool we’ve created specifically for kids: a cartoon series called The Adventures of Ben Born Again & YellowDog. Like anything else we do here at Harvest Ministries, this new series has been created with excellence and artistic integrity as our top priority. It’s humorous and fun, and kids love it. But in addition to being entertaining, it also has the gospel message infused throughout every episode. And the great news is the first episode is available for free on the Harvest+ app! It’s crucial that we reach our youngest generation with the Good News of Jesus Christ, and it’s important that we do it right! A lot goes into making these top-quality cartoons, and I’m hoping you’ll be willing to partner with Harvest in bringing them to children so that they’ll hear and see the message of the gospel in a medium that speaks directly to their hearts.
