Hope for a Nation Slouching Toward Gomorrah

Each year the President of the United States delivers the State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress.
While we’re all concerned with the political and socio-economic state of our union, I am even more deeply concerned with the spiritual state of our union.
We are called by God to be faithful stewards of all we have—and that includes our vote.
Yet, at the same time, we cannot put our hope in governmental powers alone to heal our land.
So how can we position ourselves to be God’s ambassadors in a secular nation slouching toward Gomorrah?
