“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:8-9
Life is often a matter of perspective!
We can either see life from our way or God’s way.
When things don’t go our way, we become irritated, angry, discouraged and even hopeless.
But that is because we have lost perspective.
Isaiah 55:8-9 states:
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Aren’t you glad to know that God’s ways are much higher than yours?
We do not always know what’s best or fully understand why we go through certain things, but God does.
From your perspective, things either don’t make sense or are not the way you want them to be.
However, if you are a faithful Christian, you can trust that God has a plan that is greater than you ever imagined.
Essentially, you can trust that He is in complete control.
Remember, He doesn’t think the thoughts you do.
He thinks higher thoughts.
The way you choose is not necessarily the way He would choose.
His way is better than yours.
Aren’t you glad that there is an infinite, all powerful, all sovereign God in charge of the Universe and in charge of your life?
Why not simply thank Him today that His ways are much better and greater than yours.
