“But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who made both groups one and tore down the dividing wall of hostility.” (Ephesians 2:13 CSB).
It’s reasonable to believe that Jesus is the answer to the world’s woes.
I certainly believe it.
In contrast to a world on fire, Jesus taught a better way to usher in a better kingdom.
That’s why a life-changing devotion to Christ is so universally opposed by entities and ideologies bent on obtaining power through coercion, intimidation, and brute force.
We can’t achieve peace when the goal is power and control by a hostile few bent on capitalizing on our divisions.
It’s time to take an honest look at what the Lord Jesus Christ was all about and His sheer value to mankind.
Jesus brought people of various classes together with one mission in mind: to spread the good news of the gospel.
Transformed by the power of the gospel, both Jews and Gentiles became friends and brothers, and entire communities were transformed.
In fact, every true believer in Jesus can attest to the fact their lives have been transformed; that without Him they’d be “without hope and without God in the world.” (Ephesians 2:12b CSB).
To the believers in Ephesus the Apostle Paul wrote, “But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who made both groups one, and tore down the dividing wall of hostility.” (Ephesians 2:13-14 CSB)…
“He did this so that he might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross by which he put the hostility to death.” (Ephesians 2:16 CSB).
In view of this, can you see how dangerous Jesus is for those bent on capitalizing on our divisions?
I believe it’s the devil who tries to convince the world Jesus and his death and resurrection never happened.
What do you believe?
