"It Is High Time"

Romans 13:11

"And that, knowing the time, that now it is HIGH TIME to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer then when we believed."

In today's Proverb chapter 9, we have a comparison of the "highest places" in verse 3 and the "high places" in verse 14.

We also have two women, the first is in verse 1 her name is "Wisdom" and in verse 13 her name is "Foolish."

Notice that all of mankind has one desire, and that is "understanding" verse 4 and verse 16.

Mankind is given a choice, and his choice will determine his dwelling place and the type of people he chooses to dwell with.

Those in the "highest places" are those whose days are multiplied, and their years increased verse 11; and then there are those in the "high places" where "the dead are" verse 18.

It is "high time" we awake out of sleep and start standing in the "gap."

The Hebrew word for "highest places" is "gap".

How about that!

We need some "Gap Christians" out there, calling in some simple/sinners to get saved, born again by the Spirit of God, washed in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, the One who died on the cross for their sins...was buried and rose again the third day, and even for all those backslidden Christians to get back into the House of God where they belong and to stop hanging around "the dead."

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:17 "Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you."
