MONTHLY NEWSLETTER – October 16, 2023 Impossible Love By Gary Wilkerson Seeking His Most Excellent Way “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ…and all were made to drink of one Spirit” (1 Corinthians 12:12-13).  This an incredible vision of the church working together as one, yet just as Paul finished extolling these awesome gifts, he added,  “And I will show you a still more excellent way” (1 Corinthians 12:31). Paul explained, “If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing” (1 Corinthians 13:1-3). What exactly did Paul mean with this bold statement?
