A KINGDOM THAT CANNOT BE SHAKEN

Thank you Lord that you are our rock that we build our life’s

foundation on. When the storms of life come we can call out to you.
“Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.”
"Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the Rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.”
Hebrews 12:28; Luke 6:47-48
Dear Friends,
There is much happening in the world around us. With political elections, terrorist threats, and questions about the stability of the future, there is something God wants us to realize as His children. The moment we place our faith in Jesus Christ, we receive a Kingdom which cannot be shaken.
“Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.” (Hebrews 12:28)
Our country and the kingdoms of other countries are constantly being shaken. However, the Kingdom you and I have can and never will be shaken! This is why it says we can live thankfully. Let us worship God with “reverence and awe,” meaning acknowledging that He is in control and is in charge of our lives.
Ultimately, no matter who is president of our country or what kind of attacks we face, it does not change our situation as believers in Christ. Jesus knew our foundations would be tested.
"Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the Rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.” (Luke 6:47-48)
What is the foundation of your life today? If it is the Lord, then you can live confidently, gratefully, and securely. He is the calm in the midst of a storm. Of all people, we are the most fortunate! Just remember, God is more concerned about who is King of your life than who is king of your country!
