THINGS ABOVE

 

When we are Born again,

And are walking in the Light of God’s Word,

We Set our Hearts on Things Above;

We have a Vision of the Glory of Things Above;

The Glory of Heaven and life in the Paradise of Christ.

Then, we cannot be Tempted by things here Below;

They have no significance for us;

There is No Comparison.

We see the Glory of God’s Creation here Below,

Which is a Mere Shadow of things in Paradise;

The Things in store for us Above;

The Promised Land,

And Rest from all our Troubles here Below.

Christ Jesus said:

I this World you will have Tribulation

But take heart, I have Overcome the World.

The clear implication, is that we too,

Can Overcome this Troubled World

By the Power of the Spirit of God living in us.
