Christianity contains two enormous truths:
1. Our condition apart from God is far worse than we ever thought, alongside the condition of this world, with far worse consequences than we could ever imagine.
2. God has a provided a Savior far more capable of saving than we ever could imagine, who will receive and help anyone and everyone who chooses to depend on Him.
When the darkness of this current age starts to get to you, make a decision to meditate on the sufficiency of our High Priest, Jesus, and you will have instant access to peace in the midst of this very difficult life.
Righteousness according to the New Testament is all about realizing you don’t have what it takes and going to the One who is perfect to get help.
The people who learn to constantly go to Jesus for everything, instead of relying on themselves, are the people who go on to live the most incredible lives this earth has ever seen.
