Pulse President Nick Hall: Asbury Revival Authentic and Powerful

Pulse President Nick Hall: Asbury Revival Authentic and Powerful

Word of the Asbury Revival is spreading. People want revival—they are yearning for the fire of the Holy Spirit to grip their hearts.

The seasons of doubt, fear, anxiety and depression that took place during the COVID lockdowns, economic troubles and worldwide instability are giving way to a move of the Spirit Christians have been praying and fasting for years.

Now, it's happening.

President of Pulse Ministries Nick Hall sat down with Charisma News to share what he saw and learned when he visited the revival happening at Asbury University.

"I think revival is breaking out because we were seeing so many students turn to Jesus," Hall said. "I've been there the last two days. It is...it's so sweet what God is doing. It is humble. It is organic, it is repentance. It is the Bible.

"This is like low key acoustic worship, not impressive speakers or musicians. It's just the presence of God," explained Hall. "People are being wrecked. I mean, the altars are filled, people are worshipping, people are repenting.

"It's super, super powerful. God is moving. And now we got to take it to the streets," he added.

Hall could not be more right. God is moving. What is happening at Asbury is real.

While going about the town of Wilmore, Hall would stop by and ask people if they knew what was going on.

The worker at a gas station he stopped at, a Sikh, shared with him the effect this revival has been having on his place of business.

"I have been overwhelmed with the love of God coming in the gas station," the man told Hall. "My co-workers are complaining, too many people are praying for them."

Thankfully for his coworkers, there is no such thing as too much prayer.

Another encounter Hall had was with a youth that was getting off of his skateboard and Hall asked if he had heard about what was happening in town.

"Yeah, I've been there twice," the youth responded.

Hall asked him if he was a Christian, and his response was, "No, I'm not a Christian. But man, I feel the love of God there and it's making me wonder if I should give my life to Jesus."

This outpouring of the Holy Spirit is beginning to pop up at other campuses as well, such as Lee University.

People are praying, hoping, yearning for this to be the next Great Awakening. America needs a powerful move of God, and for that to happen, she needs to offer up a repentant heart to Him, and fulfill the call of 2 Chronicles 7:14 (MEV), "If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

This is exactly what the students at Asbury University have shown to the Lord and in response He has poured out His Spirit upon that campus in an unimaginable way.

Pray that God sends His holy fire to campuses all across America and that the hearts and minds of students everywhere shape a new generation of Spirit-filled believers that will changed the world for the glory of God.
