PARENTS SHOULD HAVE A CHOICE OF SCHOOLS

 

Dear Friend, Since 2011, the last week of January has marked School Choice Week. It is a great opportunity to promote education options to families. We believe parents should have the freedom to determine where their children go to school and should have the ability to protect their children from indoctrination. The Biden Department of Education doesn't agree, unfortunately. The only choice they support is the devastating choice of choosing a gender that conflicts with biological reality. They do not want parents and children to have a choice in education because the Left would lose its ability to indoctrinate our kids. We can't let them succeed. Fearing this might be unpopular with the electorate, Biden's Department of Education was working behind the scenes before the midterm election, quietly pushing their radical agenda for public schools. Working closely with the powerful teachers' unions, the Biden Administration has sown seeds of confusion into the minds of children on everything from race and gender to history and math. Now, with the midterms behind them, the Biden administration has gone public, doubling down. They have pushed changes to Title IX, endangering the safety of girls in locker rooms and undermining years of hard work from female athletes. As if that wasn't enough, they've pushed LGBTQ indoctrination into elementary schools, even kindergarten. The worst part of all--the Biden administration has been actively collaborating with the Department of Justice to intimidate parents from having a say in their children's education. They don't want parents to have a choice or a voice. As you can see, the Biden Department of Education is coming after our children and grandchildren. That's why we need your help today to fund our efforts to equip parents with the tools to fight back. We must not let this continue. FRC Action has seen great success engaging parents and grandparents with our School Board Boot Camp initiative. In 2021, we started this initiative to educate parents about what's going on in public schools, equip them with the resources to fight back, and motivate some to run for school board themselves. To date, we've trained 2,000 attendees -- citizens now equipped to run for school board or hold their school board members accountable. It's important that we help believers to run for office. Additionally, we've partnered with iVoterGuide to rate hundreds of school board races across the country and inform voters about the truly conservative candidates in their area. We hope this is just the beginning.
