A MANDATE FOR EVERY CHRISTIAN

 

The Apostle Paul gives a Mandate for every Christian,

That is a Fundamental Part of our Witness for Christ Jesus.

Listen:

By the meekness and gentleness of Christ,

I appeal to you—I Paul,

Who am “Timid” when Face to Face with you,

But “Bold” when away!

2 I beg you that when I come

I may not have to be as bold

As I expect to be toward some people

Who think that we live by the Standards Of This World.

3 For though we live in the World,

WE DO NOT WAGE WAR AS THE WORLD DOES.

4 The Weapons we fight with

Are not the Weapons of the World.

ON THE CONTRARY THEY HAVE DIVINE POWER

TO DEMOLISH STRONGHOLDS.

5 WE DEMOLISH ARGUMENTS AND EVERY PRETENSION

THAT SETS ITSELF UP AGAINST

THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD,

And we Take Captive every thought

To make it Obedient to Christ.

6 And we will be ready to Punish Every Act of Disobedience,

Once your Obedience is Complete.

(2 Corinthians 10:1-6)

First of all the Standards of the World,

Ruled by the “god” of this Age [2 Corinthians 4:4],

Are Antithetical to the World of God;

They are the Opposite and Opposed to the Word of God.

Secondly, we are in a War for our own Heart and Mind

And the Hearts and Minds of our Families and Friends;

A War for the entire Culture we live in;

A War, that if lost, takes one to Hell.

So we cannot loose this War.

How does the World Wage War?

It Wages War by Setting Up Arguments and Pretensions

Against the Knowledge of God;

It Invents every reason Not to have Faith in God

And to Not Obey His Word.

These Arguments, Paul calls, Strongholds.

As a Christian, we should understand

That the Culture we live in is an Enormous Pretension.

It consists of Blind people leading Blind people

Into an Eternal Ditch;

All the while Pretending that they know what they are doing,

And where they are going.

“There is a Way that seems right to a man,

But in the End it leads to Death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

The World is on the Road to Eternal Death,

As is has been since the Fall of Adam and Eve.

Most people who ever lived, are now in Hell,

Having Refuse to love the Truth [2 Thessalonians 2:9-12].

It is our Christian Duty to Demolish Arguments

And Every Pretension

THAT SETS ITSELF UP

AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD;

For our own sake

And for the sake of our Family and Friends.

If we cannot do this, we are Not Christians;

Then there is Nothing to Differentiate us

From those in the World;

They we, along with the World,

Are on the Wide Road that leads to Destruction [Matt. 7:13].

The Lord has given us Powerful Weapons,

Faith, and His Word, that have Divine Power

To Demolish Arguments and Every Pretension

THAT SETS ITSELF UP

AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD,

But it is up to us to Wield these Weapons.

They are the Only Weapons we have,

Against the Wiles of the Evil One.

I Pray that those Christians who read this message

Are Wielding the Weapons that God has given them.
