Your presence is fullness of joy

 

2022 has been one of the best years for us at MorningStar. It has been challenging as we see darkness increase, but we know this only makes the light shine brighter and brighter. The Lord has given us His strength for such times, and we find this strength in the joy of the Lord. Psalm 16:11 states, “In Your presence is fullness of joy.” Our goal of drawing closer to the Lord has never been more important. I have prayed for all who are linked with MorningStar as members of our fellowships, Partners, or students that grace and favor would abound toward you, and there would be an increase in our relationships with the Lord. Nothing can enrich our lives or bring more purpose than to draw closer to Him. To be a friend of God is the greatest treasure and experience we can have in this life.   This has been a year of great growth at MorningStar, and we see the great harvest is upon us. As my successor, Chris Reed has stepped into the role as president of the ministry, overseeing the day-to-day operations. I don’t think I could be more pleased with the job he is doing. His relationship with the Lord is strong, and he has been entrusted with remarkable spiritual gifts. He may be young, but he really is an “old soul” with wisdom far beyond his years. I know he will take MorningStar much further and higher, and I look forward to coming along for the ride.   This is my home, and I will remain engaged with MorningStar as a member of the board, as well as in the church and ministry as much as I can. However, the Lord has let me know how crucial it is for me to finish some of the writings I have been working on and other important assignments. One assignment I am especially excited about is helping position some of the great champions of the faith He is raising up for these times.     Thank you for your faithfulness to stand with us as co-laborers in what we have been given to do. I trust you are encouraged to see your investment in MorningStar bear fruit and increase as it is.
