“I was great at selling abortion,” says Abby Johnson, who served as director of a Planned Parenthood abortion facility.
“I was a very, very good salesperson. I could sell an abortion to anybody.
It’s so easy when you get a woman into your office, and she is vulnerable and she’s unsure.”
Abby was such a good abortion salesperson that Planned Parenthood named her “Employee of the Year” in 2008.
But despite the remarkable number of abortions Abby had already sold, Planned Parenthood’s corporate office sent down orders to INCREASE abortion quotas at her facility in Bryan, Texas.
The orders were unsettling considering the company line back then about making abortion “safe, legal and rare.” Abby believed “abortion was something we were trying to eradicate, [to] make unnecessary through various education programs.” But the new abortion quotas made Abby begin to question her employer’s true goal.
A few months later, Abby was called in to assist a doctor who refused to perform an abortion without the guidance of an ultrasound. Abby had never witnessed such a procedure, and what she saw on the monitor that day changed her life and heart forever. It made her sick.

“As I stood watching, a thirteen-week-old unborn child struggled and lost its life within its mother’s womb, finally crumpling and disappearing into the cannula, a hollow plastic tube attached to the suction machine by a flexible hose.”
“I was just in shock. I couldn’t believe what I was watching,” Abby said. In the once-safe confines of its mother’s womb, the baby was actually trying to escape the abortionist’s instruments.
“[T]he baby was actually making some progress.
It was moving further and further away from the instrument, so much so the doctor had to reposition the cannula.
And he finally got everything in place, and he asked the technician to turn on the suction, and she did.”
“In just a few moments, I saw the child’s body begin to go through that tube.
“For those few moments I was watching this child fight hard for its life. It didn’t have a chance. We had all those instruments and all that technology, and that little baby didn’t have a fighting chance, and it did fight.”
Abby adds: “I walked out of the room that day just realizing, ‘I’ve got to make a change.
Never again. I’m never going to participate in this again.’”
This butchery of babies happens by the thousands every day.
And Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is doing everything to continue it.
STOP THE GENOCIDE! Demand Senators VOTE NO on Abortion!
Abby’s conversion from Planned Parenthood’s “Employee of the Year” to pro-life activist happened because of an ultrasound. Several states have passed laws requiring ultrasounds for women considering abortion.
These laws save lives in the same way they saved Abby from a career of killing children.
They show the mother and everyone in the room that these babies are not globs of tissue.
But the abortion bills being considered by Congress would eliminate ultrasound requirements and make unrestricted abortion on demand the law of our land.
Even barbaric partial birth abortions, too gruesome to describe, will be made legal again.
The U.S. Senate is considering several abortion bills already passed by the House.
These abortion bills and the others in the Senate go far beyond the Roe decision.
They federalize unlimited abortion on demand while also overriding every protective measure designed to save the lives of the unborn and women … including lifesaving, soul-changing ultrasound requirements.
The pro-death camp needs only two more senators willing to discard the filibuster for abortion to become the law of the land. If the filibuster goes, every other outlandish bill pending in the Senate will also pass—and there are many.
Four senators—Murkowski (R-AK), Collins (R-ME), Sinema (D-AZ) and Manchin (D-WV)—are on the fence.
Senate Majority Leader Schumer needs only flip the votes of two of these senators to get his abortion agenda passed.
