MILITARY SUICIDES HAVE SKYROCKETED OVER COVID SHOT MANDATE

Ten sailors have committed suicide while assigned to a single Navy ship over the last 10 months.

Military suicides have skyrocketed since COVID arrived and have increased even more under Joe Biden’s unlawful shot mandates.

We began our legal fight with the administration to save religious freedom.

Now, we are fighting to save the lives of service members! Read on. — Mat

Friend,

On the morning of April 11, the U.S. Navy Captain’s voice boomed over the nuclear carrier U.S.S. George Washington’s intercom system.

He announced that two more crew members had taken their lives over the weekend.

Four days later, yet another sailor aboard the ship took his own life.

In just the last 10 months, 10 sailors aboard the U.S.S. George Washington have committed suicide.

The U.S. military, already plagued by an increase in active-duty suicides, reported a heartbreaking 16% increase in suicides in 2020, according to the Department of Defense (DOD) 2020 Annual Suicide Report.

That’s the highest number of active-duty suicides in at least five years.

Sadly, Liberty Counsel has direct knowledge of suicides related to the pressure service members face from the abusive DOD shot mandates.

STOP the ABUSE! Fund the fight to end the shot mandates!

Last week, we filed a declaration in Navy SEAL 1 v. Austin revealing shocking evidence of suicides among military members due to the Biden shot mandate.

A platoon mate of Plaintiff Lance Corporal 2 of the U.S. Marine Corps committed suicide just before Christmas.

A military counselor informed the platoon that the suicide was a result of the pressure and the punishment this Marine faced for his religious objection to the shots.

Jonathan*, one of our Plaintiffs and a platoon mate of the Marine who took his life, said “the heavy-handed COVID shot separation policy now has killed more Marines than has the actual COVID-19 sickness.”

Coast Guard First Class Petty Officer Don* committed suicide in February.

Chaplain Alejandro*, who has been counseling Don’s widow (who is also an active-duty Coast Guard member), said that the “punitive nature of their looming discharges” for refusing the shot drove Don to kill himself.

In March, I wrote you regarding testimony from Chaplain Timothy, in which he said service members are “anguished at the thought of a choice between the COVID shot and their deeply-held, sincere religious beliefs that receiving the COVID shot would be a grave sin.”

NO more military suicides! Help Liberty Counsel DEFEAT the MANDATES in COURT!

Yet Joe Biden’s Department of Defense will not allow these service members to keep serving, nor will the DOD release them from service.

Instead, the DOD is leaving religious accommodation seekers “stuck,” forcing them into isolation and punishment.

The DOD is even leaving some service members stuck in foreign countries, unless they take the jab.

The Costs of War Project, which was started in 2010 by Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs, found that some service members felt they would lose their sense of identity by being discharged early, and they “would do anything to avoid leaving the military.”

The plaintiffs in our massive lawsuit against the Biden administration say the suicide rate will continue to grow.

THESE DEATHS ARE AVOIDABLE ...

Liberty Counsel has received more than 1,000 legal assistance requests from service members from all military branches.

Of those members, more than 334 have received final denials of their Religious Accommodation Request (RAR) appeals.

Multiple service members with pending RARs requested “voluntary” separation, but they have been denied, even after their respective commands instructed them to apply for such separation.

Liberty Counsel is seeking class certification in Navy SEAL 1 v. Austin to protect members of all the military branches.

Last Thursday, we received another preliminary injunction on behalf of a Captain in the Marine Corps.

We also filed a lengthy legal argument urging Judge Merryday to issue a class-wide injunction to protect service members of all six branches.

The shot mandate is inflicting cruel and unusual punishment on America’s finest members of the military.

This abuse must end.

Even one life ending in suicide is one too many.
