JESUS THE TEACHER

After His resurrection, Yeshua met two of His disciples walking on the road to Emmaus.
God prevented them from recognizing Him, and as they walked, they talked about Yeshua's ministry, His unjust death, and the empty tomb (Luke 24:15–24).
They also mentioned how they hoped Jesus would be the one to redeem Israel (v. 21).
Though Yeshua told His disciples He would die and rise again (Mark 8:31), there were still some lingering doubts after His death.
Yeshua did not reject them for having doubts.
Instead, He reviewed with them all the prophecies concerning His ministry and used Scripture to confront their uncertainty.
When we face doubt—whether it is about the resurrection, the truth of Scripture, or God's plans for the future—it is comforting to remember that Jesus was really here.
We can look back on the prophecies He fulfilled from the Hebrew Scriptures—and we can trust that He will fulfill the rest when He returns!
When we take the Lord's Supper and celebrate Passover, we are remembering what Yeshua accomplished with His first coming—redemption for whoever believes.
We also look forward to what He will do when He returns, rescues Israel, and rules as our King (Zechariah 14).
As He promised, He will not drink from the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes (Luke 22:18)!
May be an image of outdoors, tree and text that says 'YESHUA WAS REALLY HERE'
