Something to ponder …
The reason that the wages of sin is death by execution is that God will not allow His universe to become filled with individuals having a natural disposition for doing evil.
For in no time at all, these created beings would take the place of God, usurp the authority of God, destroy God, and become God if they could.
You know the story of Lucifer and why he’s the way he is. Lucifer is what happens when the original nature is changed. This is why Jesus said to Nicodemus,
“Except a man be born again he cannot get into heaven.”

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
