Scatter Your Seeds

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16, NIV)
I have a lot of lily plants in my garden.
During monsoon, they bloom beautiful flowers, then bear fruit with a good number of seeds.
They ‘perceive’ the light and respond to it.
As the seeds of the lily scatter, they are quick to germinate and grow on fertile soil.
The love of God rests in us as believers and searches for other fertile hearts to receive Him. His Holy Seed spreads from us to others — God planting His Seed to grow and produce the fruit of the Spirit, passed on to many.
From a single heart willing to serve His purpose, many can be blessed.
And as we pass on the blessings, we make room for more to come to us.
That’s how the Kingdom works, catered by a will set free by Christ to serve.
Our assignment on earth is not of toiling in the flesh for its own desires, but to fulfill our Spiritual purpose. It’s a privilege to spend our days in this present ‘flesh and blood’ being used by the Spirit.
Blessed are the days we live on earth devoted to the Light.
Jesus came to earth in the flesh with an assigned purpose, and so we have an assigned purpose too, for our own generation.
Blessed are those who seek their purpose for the Kingdom, which God reveals to a heart receptive to His love.
A receptive heart perceives Spiritual Light from God and responds to it.
It gets an eye to see its blessings and a mind to understand His presence.
Blessed is a heart that longs to learn from Him.
It might get deceived in the process by tactics of darkness, but the Lord guides those who are determined to know Him.
