REVELATION - TO THE CHURCH IN PHILADELPHIA

 

Revelation 3:7-13

7 To the angel of the Church in Philadelphia write:

These are the words of Him who is Holy and True,

Who holds the Key of David.

What He opens, no one can shut;

And what He shuts, no one can open.

8 I know your deeds.

SEE, I HAVE PLACED BEFORE YOU A OPEN DOOR

THAT NO ONE CAN SHUT.

I know that you have Little Strength,

Yet you have kept My Word and have not denied My Name.

9 I will make those who are of the Synagogue of Satan,

Who claim to be Jews though they are not, but Liars--

I will make them come and fall down at your feet

And acknowledge that I have loved you.

10 Since you have kept My Command to Endure Patiently,

I WILL KEEP YOU FROM THE HOUR OF TRIAL

THAT IS GOING TO COME UPON THE WHOLE WORLD

TO TEST THOSE WHO LIVE ON THE EARTH.

11 I AM COMING SOON.

Hold on to what you have,

So that no one will take your Crown.

12 HE WHO OVERCOMES

I will make a Pillar in the Temple of My God.

Never again will he leave it.

I will write on him the Name of My God

And the Name of the City of my God,

The New Jerusalem,

Which is coming down out of Heaven from My God;

And I will also write on him My New Name.

13 He who has an ear, let him hear

What the Spirit says to the Churches.

(Revelation 3:7-13)

Christ Jesus is Holy and True

And holds the Key of David

(The Key to the throne of David, the Key to Heaven).

He has the absolute authority

Over what is shut and what is open.

When He shuts something,

It is shut and no one can open it,

And when He opens something,

It is open, and no one can shut it.

He holds the Keys to Death, Hell and the Grave,

By His perfect knowledge,

He determines who goes to Heaven

And who goes to Hell.

He knows the deeds of the Church at Philadelphia

And of every Church today.

For the Church at Philadelphia,

He has placed before them, an Open Door

That no one can shut,

Even though they have little strength,

Because they have kept His Word

And have not denied His Name.

Christ Jesus is going to make those

Who are of the Synagogue of Satan,

Who claim to be Jews (Christians)

Though they are not, but Liars;

He is going to make the Liars

Fall down at the feet of the Saints

And acknowledge that He loved them.

Because the saints have kept His command

TO ENDURE PATIENTLY,

Christ Jesus is going to keep them

FROM THE HOUR OF TRIAL

That is going to come upon the Whole World

TO TEST THOSE WHO LIVE ON THE EARTH.

[All of a sudden Christ Jesus

Has jumped to the End of “Time,”

And is talking about The Great Tribulation;

The Hour of TRIAL

That is going to TEST the Whole World.

This is a promise that those who are true to Him

Will not go through The Great Tribulation.]

Christ Jesus says again, He is coming soon.

He warns His Saints to hold on to what they have,

So that no one will take their Crown.

If we follow Christ according to His Word,

No one can take our Crown.

However, we can give away our Crown

If we give in to the Deception of Satan.

Christ Jesus promises that those who Overcome,

He will make a Pillar in the Temple of His God,

Never to leave it for all Eternity.

He will write on each Saint the Name of His God

And the Name of the City of His God, the New Jerusalem,

Which will come out of Heaven from God.

Each saint will also have the New Name

Of Christ Jesus written upon him.

Those of us who have an ear,

Let us hear what the Spirit is saying to His Church.

Today, Christ Jesus offers each one of us

An open door that no one can shut.

We too must resist the False Church,

Those who claim to belong to Christ but do not.

We are near to the End of “Time,”

And many of us will be alive

When the TRIAL comes upon the earth.

If we are Faithful to Christ Jesus

We can rest in His Peace, without Fear.

We can be a Pillar in the Temple of God

And have His New Name written upon us.
