The bad session Please take our poll!  Play our video explaining the Oregon Political Action Tax Credit:  www.bit.ly/ortaxcredit When this session started, right after the special session in December, where no Oregon citizen was allowed to directly observe, where no real representative government took place, no one imagined that the regular session could continue this foolish, undemocratic approach to the end.   But it did.   Like the exclusive sessions that happen in Communist China, where literally no one cares or even tries to participate (unless they are party members), because they know it will have no impact, this session of the Oregon Legislature was completely closed to the real public.   TRANSPARENCY?  Completely a joke.  Access to legislators?  There was only remote access, phone, letter writing and email.   Committees allowed testimony, but the stories of those who could not give their testimony abound.   The Oregon House Democrats used this public MUTED testimony opportunity to strip Oregonians of many FREEDOMS.   They completely ignored transparency, and managed the session with backroom deals on some of the most contentious issues up for debate.   This legislative session proved that the ultra-liberal/progressive/Democrats have gone too far.  And yet we know that Oregon is a winnable state.  We can start today.  Please review these points with links:  One, two, three and four.  We continue to educate, organize, identify other supporters and encourage Oregon taxpayers to take $50 or $100 per couple out of the states tax coffer so it can't pay for taxpayer funded abortions (called the political action tax credit).   Your immediate help of $25, $50, $100 or more to help us protect life can take some of that money away from abortions (those state funded abortions).   Thank you for your consideration!   No gift is too large or too small, so I hope we can count on you standing with us today.  Oregon is a winnable state and we should not give up on it!
