THE SCOURGE OF THE CHURCH – A FORM OF RELIGION

 

For [although] they hold a Form of Piety

(True religion),

They Deny and Reject

And are Strangers to the Power of it--

Their conduct Belies the Genuineness

Of their Profession.

AVOID [all] such people--

TURN AWAY FROM THEM.

(2 Timothy 3:5, AMP)

The Natural tendency of man

And Christianity,

Is to create a Form

That they have Power over.

This was the Scourge of the Jewish Religion

In the Day of Christ Jesus

And it has been the Scourge

Of the Christian Religion,

As practiced by the Catholicism

And the Christian Religion in general.

It remains the Scourge

Of the Christian Religion today.

In True Christianity,

The Power of God is Manifested

As it was in the Book of Acts.

True Christianity can only be practiced

By Born Again people,

Who are walking in the Light of the Gospel,

And who Worship God in Spirit and in Truth,

And follow the Pattern given by Christ,

As did the First Believers in the Book of Acts.

Then God’s Spirit is poured out upon the saints

And their sons and daughters Prophesy

Their young men see Visions;

Their old men dream Dreams;

And men and women, both Prophesy.

(Acts2:17-18)

And these Sings follow the True church:

They drive out Demons;

They speak in new Tongues;

They lay their hands on the Sick

And they get Well.

(Mark 16:17-18)
