"PEACE BE WITH YOU, RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT"

 

Easter April 4, 2021 On the very first Easter, Christ met with his disciples and said two incredible things:  “Peace be with you” and “Receive the Holy Spirit” (John 20:21-22, ESV).  Christ’s presence has the power to overcome our anxieties, redirect our hearts and give us peace that surpasses all understanding. This truth was not only for the first believers but also for all believers today. Jesus’ life and resurrection has redeemed our relationships with God and launched us into a countdown for his second coming. It is then that the world will finally be healed and transformed. “Folks, we are not of this world,” David Wilkerson once stated. “We are of another world. We are just passing through here.” May this Easter be a celebration of joy, peace and hope in eternity!
