The week that changed the world

Dear Friend,

Most, but not all, of what we know about Jesus comes from the New Testament, so it’s not surprising that every year around Easter, the media highlights a skeptic who claims that the New Testament can’t be trusted. On this week’s Truths That Transform, we’ll examine the evidence and I think you’ll be impressed by the reliability of God’s Word. Plus, Dr. Kennedy gives you a riveting account of Jesus’ crucifixion from one of the participants in that event.

Celebrating “Good Friday?”

Next week, we will celebrate Good Friday. But have you ever stopped to think about that? Why do we call it Good Friday, not Bad Friday? On that day, the greatest act of horror and sin the world has ever known was perpetrated on the sinless Son of God. He had committed no crime, was falsely accused and executed at the hands of sinful men.

So, why do we call it “Good Friday?” I’ll tell you in my Truths That Transform commentary. And I hope you’ll share it with someone who needs to know why Christians the world over celebrate Good Friday.
