THE DEVASTATION THE DEM'S 'EQUALITY ACT' WOULD DO TO AMERICA

 

Dear Friend, With the new Biden-Harris administration and Congress underway in Washington, we're running out of time to stop the radical Equality Act. If passed, it would overhaul our federal civil rights framework to mandate special privileges for sexual orientation and gender identity... ... leaving many Americans to suffer the consequences, including children, women, medical professionals, and Bible-believing Americans like you and me. The Equality Act was passed by the Nancy Pelosi-led House last congress and surely will be again. We will once again need the Senate to stop its passage... Because if it passes the Senate, we can be sure President Biden will sign it. After all, Vice President Harris was a co-sponsor of the bill when she was still a senator. And during the presidential campaign, Biden promised, if elected, "It will be the first thing I ask to be done." WE CANNOT LET THAT HAPPEN! As a partner of FRC Action, you know that we are working non-stop on Capitol Hill to stop this harmful bill -- but in order to continue the fight, we're in urgent need of financial partnership from friends like you. Mark my words: if we allow the Equality Act to reach President Biden's desk, we will witness one of the most radical left-turns in our nation's history. You see, despite its pleasant-sounding name, the only "equal" thing about the Equality Act is the equal harm it does to every facet of American life. If passed... Women and girls would no longer have privacy in publicly accessible bathrooms, locker rooms, showers, and even battered women's shelters; Churches and houses of worship could be prohibited from requiring that their leaders and employees abide by their doctrines about marriage and sexuality; Religious employers could be forced to offer their employees insurance coverage for procedures related to "gender transition"; and Medical professionals could be ordered to perform abortions or procedures related to "gender transition" against their moral or medical opinions. Frankly, it's impossible to guess all of this bill's terrible impacts until long after its passage, when the damage has already been done.
