ABIDE IN THE VINE, CHRIST

Jill Soto

 ღϠ₡ღ Abide in Him ღϠ₡ღ

A grape does not become sweeter or deeper in color through its own efforts. The grape grows in sweetness and color by abiding in the branch. The branch produces fruit by abiding in the vine.
And it is through the effortless act of abiding in the true vine (Jesus) and allowing His life to flow through us that love, compassion, forgiveness, wisdom and other godly traits are developed in us.
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. (John 15:4-5)
