The Sheriff of Douglas County, Nevada, Dan Coverley, has a message for his county’s library:
“Due to your support of Black Lives Matter and the obvious lack of support or trust with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, please do not feel the need to call 9-1-1 for help,” Coverley wrote.
“I wish you good luck with disturbances and lewd behavior, since those are just some of the recent calls my office has assisted you with in the past.”
His actions seem harsh but I can fully relate to this Sheriff’s frustration, and I might add that many sheriffs now feel this way.
I believe ‘woke’ American Christians doing the very same thing to God that this community is doing to their sheriff.
They support Black Lives Matter—a Marxist/atheist movement.
They use the terminology of the Left to appear inclusive, not realizing they are excluding God by their fellowship with darkness.
These lukewarm believers are not only soft on abortion and sexual immorality, they also have little regard for the precepts of the Bible.
Millions of these ‘woke’ Christians are nervous and anxious about tomorrow.
They see the storm we are sailing into.
They even pray for protection for themselves and the ones they love—but they won’t take a stand against clear evil…the evil that God hates.
Worse yet, they reject God’s means of saving us.
Hypocrites! Why do you pray for God to protect you from the very evil you are collaborating with?
Wake up! The revolution on our streets is not about black lives or even about hating Trump.
The goal is an America without God.
This revolution is driven by atheism.
Its goal is to get America to turn her back on Jehovah God.
You must choose a side if you want protection.
And remember this:
The war on God extends to the giants of media and commerce:
Facebook, Google, Amazon, Apple, and Twitter are not neutral.
They are actively working toward a world without God.
That is why they censor Conservative Christians.
These five God-hating companies have a combined net worth of over $6 Trillion, and unfettered access to the largest audience in human history.
That is not even the full extent of it: NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, and hundreds of newspapers also beat the drum for a Godless America.
That is why they tacitly approve of the mayhem on our streets.
That is why you see the unravelling of morality and the vilest perversion paraded before our children.
You are watching destruction by design.
Evil men skew poll numbers and virus statistics in order to take control and drive the church underground.
Israel was guilty of rebelling against God’s law while demanding His protection.
They felt entitled to be protected because they kept a form of Godliness.
They even fasted.
Still, they wondered why God wasn’t hearing their prayers of protection.
Israel cried out to God. “Why have we fasted,” they say, “and You have not seen? Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?” (Isaiah 58:3)
In the same way, many American Christians wonder why they are empty inside and full of dread.
Preachers who refuse to take a stand, wonder why their mouth is full of straw and not revelation from God.
God answered Israel, saying, in essence:
‘Do you want to know why your prayer for protection and inner peace is rejected?
Why God doesn’t listen to you anymore?’
The following verses are just as much for woke American Christians today as they were for Israel then:
“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.
For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perversity.
No one calls for justice, nor does any plead for truth.
They trust in empty words and speak lies; they conceive evil and bring forth iniquity” (Isaiah 59:1-4).
Ask yourself: Have you called for a truce with evil?
Is there blood on your hands because you will not oppose abortion?
Are you guilty of not calling for justice and truth?
Are you guilty of using empty lying phrases like, “Black Lives Matter,” and “White silence is violence?”
You know these are falsehoods.
You know these violent protestors hate God.
Are you consorting with the avowed enemies of God and asking for God to keep you safe from their agenda?
Worst of all, do you reject Donald Trump?
He is the strong medicine America needs.
Of course, you would have chosen someone else.
Of course, you wanted a smooth voice and a polite enabler.
But that is not what this hour calls for!
Why do you pray for protection, but refuse to vote for him?
On the other hand, there is a word of protection and joy to the remnant of God.
You aren’t meant to be a ‘lone ranger.’
You need to be in a church where the leader is pressing into God, and seeking revival.
Find a church with a godly leader who is neither your ‘theological teddy bear,’ nor your ‘pulpit impresario.’
The nation is filled with houses of God that will be ground zero for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
True prophets like David Wilkerson foretold two events—a calamity that would shut down America in an instant, followed by a fresh wave—a reformation of the Holy Fire of God, leading to a massive harvest.
Hold on! Another Azusa St. or Jesus Movement-type of event is coming for the people who know their God, and for the houses that have stayed faithful to their Lord.
On the other hand, there is no doubt that America has filled up God’s cup of wrath.
Though we have passed through one storm—it won’t be the last.
If we don’t learn the lesson, and repent, the wrath of God will again come down upon wickedness, because He means to purify the church and save our nation from itself.
But, woe to those of you who pray for protection, but refuse to take a stand.
In God, there is safety in taking a stand:
And Mordecai told them to answer Esther:
“Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews.
For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish.
Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for just such a time as this?” (Esther 4:13-14)
