Hello Friend,
It’s funny how popular SUVs and 4x4s are. People like the look of a tough off-road vehicle. They’ll jack up their car or truck, put massive wheels on it, impressive tires, maybe a winch on the front. It’s primed to go exploring in hard-to-reach places, but what do they do with it? They basically drive it from car wash to car wash. That vehicle has potential to do great four-wheeling, but they never use the potential. It’s all for show. That’s how a lot of people are with faith. It’s something they talk about, but it’s not something they use. The Bible says that God has given to every one of us a measure of faith. What we do with that faith is up to us. Are we going to develop and cultivate it, or are we going to neglect it?
I want to encourage you to be like the men and women of Hebrews 11—to step out as an act of faith and do something for the Lord that you’ve never done before. Be willing to take a risk for the kingdom of God. Instead of being changed by the world, why don’t you go and change your world?
I’ve written a brand-new book about heroes of faith and how their example can inspire you. The book is titled World Changers, and we’re giving it away as a thank-you gift to anyone who donates to Harvest Ministries this month. I’d love to send you a copy when you give any amount toward the work of evangelism that we do at Harvest.
You can give at this link, and we’ll put a copy of World Changers in the mail to you:
