GOP asks Barr if Pelosi committed crime by ripping up State of the Union

If she did, federal law 'requires removal from office'

Two House Republicans have asked Attorney General William Barr to determine if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi broke federal law when she ripped up President Trump's State of the Union speech.
Republican Policy Committee Chairman Gary Palmer, R-Ala., and Republican Study Committee Chairman Mike Johnson, R-La., wrote a letter to Barr on Tuesday to determine whether her actions violated federal statutes, Fox News reported.
If so, they argue, the law "requires removal from office."
Pelosi made it clear what she thinks of the president as she tore up his State of the Union address on national TV at the conclusion of his remarks in February.
