John Rabe and I will be hosting another Why Do You Believe That? on Facebook Live this evening at 7 pm ET. For those of you who don’t have a Facebook account, you can still join us. Simply click on the link provided for the D. James Kennedy Ministries Facebook page at 7 pm or after.
A survey that came out just this month shows that 52% of professing Christians think they can earn their salvation by “being or doing good.” Only 46% believe they’ll be in Heaven based on their confession of sin and trust in Jesus Christ alone. The results of Arizona Christian University’s survey, while not surprising, are alarming.
Is it any wonder that our nation is dealing with so many social ills and even considering socialism when Biblical literacy is at an all-time low? John Adams said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
It’s hard to be salt and light in a desperately needy culture if we don’t know the basics of the Christian faith. I hope you’ll join us tonight as we look at the implications of “Biblical Illiteracy” for our nation and individuals’ eternal destiny.
As always on Why Do You Believe That?, our plumb line will be the Word of God and the One who is Truth incarnate, Jesus Christ.
If you have questions about tonight's topic, we’d love to answer them. If you have a FB profile, you can get them in now via comments on
