What Pandemic?

Didn't you think we were in a pandemic? We were told that going out among people might kill grandma with the coronavirus! Going to church might be terminal, and our Governor has strict controls about meeting for church. But it appears that everything is political. Everything is a political attack.

As thousands crowd the streets to voice their sadness over the unfortunate death of George Floyd (that was a VERY unfortunate death and those responsible should face severe penalties), we see many not social distancing or wearing masks, and we have to ask ourselves where did the pandemic go?

Our governor does nothing to help stop the protests or apply the same rules to the protests that churches work under. Even worse is the looting that takes place in Portland and other cities while denying the Mayor of Portland's request for National Guard. Why? because like other liberal/progressives she wants to use this next crisis against the conservative/Republicans!

We realize that this terrible death took place at the hands of police officers in a liberal city (Minneapolis has had a Democrat Mayor since 1994 and has 12 of 13 city councilors from the Democrat Party) in a liberal state, yet it is still Republican President Donald Trump's fault.

Again, everything is political! Everything must be used to end his presidency. Yet remember what his presidency has accomplished. Recall how his presidency has protected the Judeo-Christian Worldview.

So what can we do? Build an organization. We have seen in a recent election how there really isn't an effective all purpose, all issue organization that can bring the change we need. We need something new and not just a single issue organization. That's what Oregon Faith and Freedom can be.

Connecting with a national group Faith and Freedom Coalition (ffcoalition.com) that has already had great national impact, is a good step. The first step in that process is building a list. That is what we have been doing. Reaching out to an ever wider circle of potential people who can work together to bring that change. We are using email outreach at the moment, so please keep reading and opening.  And watch for a change from the current mailchimp delivery to another email platform that will help us grow the list faster. Then stay with us! Other steps will follow. What can we do? Call the Governor(503-378-4582)!  She is still overreaching and limiting religious freedoms! Vote, remind friends to vote, educate your friends on who and when to vote, how to register to vote, get engaged with our Oregon Faith and Freedom Chapter, attend the upcoming "Road to Majority" Conference in Washington D.C., use your facebook/instagram to reach and find others like you, challenge your own beliefs to understand better how to get engaged in the culture war, give you tax credit, take our survey, and more.
