THE SCROLL AND THE LAMB

Revelation Chapter 5

As the scene of the Throne of Heaven remains open to John,

He sees in the right hand of Him who sits on the Throne, a Scroll,

With writing on both sides, and sealed with Seven Seals.

There appears a Mighty Angel proclaiming in a loud voice,

'WHO IS WORTHY TO BREAK THE SEALS

AND OPEN THE SCROLL?'

However, no one in Heaven or on Earth or under the Earth

Could open the Scroll or even look inside it.

Because this Scroll contains The Time of The END,

And the Judgment of God upon the Earth and its Inhabitants.

Only one person is able to look into it to see what it contains;

The One who created “Time.”

He is the only One worthy to do this,

Because He is the One who gave ALL.

John weeps because it appears that no one is found to be worthy

To open the Scroll or look inside.

Then an elder speaks to John and says,

'DO NOT WEEP!

SEE, THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH,

THE ROOT OF DAVID, HAS TRIUMPHED.

HE IS ABLE TO OPEN THE SCROLL AND ITS SEVEN SEALS.

(Revelation 5:5)

John then sees a Lamb, looking as if it had been Slain,

Standing in the Center of the Throne,

Encircled by the Four Living Creatures and the Elders.

He had Seven Horns and Seven Eyes,

Which are the Seven Spirits of God sent out into the Earth.

The Elder stepped up to the Throne

And took the Scroll from the right hand

Of Him Who sat on the Throne.

And when he had taken it,

The Four Living Creatures and the Twenty-Four Elders

Fell down before the Lamb.

Overwhelmed by His Glory and Presence.

Each one had a harp

And they were holding Golden Bowls full of Incense,

Which are the Prayers of the Saints.

And they sang a New Song.

'YOU ARE WORTHY TO TAKE THE SCROLL

AND TO OPEN ITS SEALS.

BECAUSE YOU WERE SLAIN,

AND WITH YOUR BLOOD YOU PURCHASED MEN FOR GOD

FROM EVERY TRIBE AND LANGUAGE

AND PEOPLE AND NATION.

YOU HAVE MADE THEM TO BE A KINDOM

AND PRIESTS TO SERVE OUR GOD,

AND THEY WILL REIGN ON THE EARTH.'

(Revelation 5:9-10)

John then looked... and heard the voice of many angels,

Numbering Thousands upon Thousands,

And Ten Thousand times Ten Thousand.

They encircled the Throne

And the Living Creatures and the Elders,

In a loud voice the sang:

'WORTHY IS THE LAMB, WHO WAS SLAIN,

TO RECEIVE POWER AND WEALTH

AND WISDOM AND STRENGTH

AND HONOR AND GLORY AND PRAISE!'

He hears... every creature in Heaven

And on Earth and under the Earth

And on the sea, and all that is in them singing:

'TO HIM WHO SITS ON THE THRONE

AND TO THE LAMB

BE PRAISE AND HONOR AND GLORY

AND POWER FOR EVER AND EVER!'

The Four Living Creatures said, 'Amen,'

And the Elders fell down and worshiped.

(Revelation 5:11-14)

The blood of Christ Jesus is the agent

That purchases those who believe.

The only access to Christ Jesus

And Eternity in Heaven is His blood.

The Israelites in the time of Moses,

Placed the blood of a lamb on the top and sides of the door

So that the Death Angel passed over them and left them alive.

Likewise, each one of us must Repent of our Sin

And apply the blood of Christ to our lives,

So that the Eternal Death

That awaits all who do not receive Christ

Passes over us.

We who receive Christ Jesus

And apply His blood to our lives

Have been made by Christ

To be a Kingdom and Priests to serve God,

And we will Reign with Him forever.

In Heaven, all of creation,

Continually worships God and His Christ, forever.

We will live continually in the Anointing of The Anointed One;

The Glory Realm of God,

Where His Love, Joy, and Peace Reign.

Today, we should be living

In the continual Anointing of The Anointed One;

Continually Praising God and giving Him all Glory;

Living in His Glory Realm

Where His Love, Joy and Peace Reign.
