The modern Church has focused on the idea or concept that God accepts us just the way we are, If that were true then there would be no need for salvation.
True worship and devotion to Christ is found wholly in accepting God the way He is.
His Word, His heart, his mind, and His will must supersede your own.
There is only one path in following Jesus and that is to lay down your own life, take up your own cross, and follow Him.
