Hello Friend,
If you’ve ever asked “Why, God?” you are not alone. Many of us have been there, especially when something painful and traumatic has just overturned our lives.
I’m thinking particularly of my friend Jeremy Camp when he lost his first wife, Melissa, to cancer. They had thought the cancer was gone, they were young and newly married, and they were looking forward with expectant hope to a bright and happy future.
But the cancer came back with a vengeance. Just four months into their marriage, Melissa passed away. Jeremy was on the floor in a fetal position, asking the question, “Why, God?”
But despite this horrific tragedy, Jeremy experienced a closeness with the Lord that he had never known before, and soon afterward he wrote a song that has touched and ministered to millions: “I Still Believe.”
Jeremy’s story is a gripping account of God’s faithfulness in the midst of heartache and I’d like to send you a copy of his book, I Still Believe, before the movie comes out so that you can read it beforehand.
You can get a copy by donating to Harvest Ministries.
