THE RICHES OF HIS GLORY

"I pray that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power in your inner being through His Spirit."
Ephesians 3:16
"So no matter our outward affliction or appearance, the Holy Spirit is at work in our hearts, transforming us day by day to be more like our Savior."
II Corinthians 3:18
"Therefore we do not give up. Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day.... So we do not focus on what is seen but on what is unseen for what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal"
II Corinthians 4:16-18
The Apostle Paul was far more concerned about his inner man than with what the world thought of him. Unfortunately, in today's culture, too often, we find it to be just the opposite.
Just as an electric light bulb is almost worthless until lit from within by an unseen power, so we, Christians, are quite ineffective until the unseen Holy Spirit completely indwells our inner being.
Let us not try to impress or get consumed with what others, even complete strangers, think of us.
Let us yield to the work of Holy Spirit, within our inner being, helping us to become more like Jesus, our savior!
