Dear WND Reader,
With anti-Christian bigotry and persecution on a steep rise, not only around the world, but right here in America, a big question arises:
Who cares?
Well, I believe you care. I believe the people with whom you worship on Sunday care. And I must believe that most of the 225 million+ Americans who describe themselves as "Christians" care.
One thing I don't need to wonder about — something I know absolutely for certain — is this:
Everyone who works here at WND cares deeply about anti-Christian bigotry and persecution — so much so that our staff and I have taken major pay cuts, are working longer hours, and do the very best we can with the resources we've got to bring you a rare service in today's post-Christian media world: Truth-based reporting by professional journalists who also happen to love America and the Constitution and, most of all, are serious Christians.
In just the last few weeks, WND has reported major news stories about anti-Christian and anti-Semitic bigotry and persecution on a wide variety of fronts, including:
- The Marine Corps censoring a Christian message after a complaint from an atheist group.
- A new law bans anti-Israel activism for those hired by government.
- Multiple media outlets smear Tennessee's Religious Liberty Bill as 'anti-LGBT'.
- The British government vows to protect Christians worldwide.
- Twitter suspends radical anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan 'in error,' allows him back hours later.
- Charter school to art teachers: Get rid of Bible references.
- City of San Antonio spends $300k to keep Chick-fil-A out of its airport.
- The Supreme Court takes on Church-State Separation in Christian Schools Case.
- Trump moves to protect prayer in public schools.
Did you see, read or hear about any of these stories in the so-called "mainstream news media"?
Did the Big Three "news" networks or cable channels like CNN or MSNBC spend a second of their broadcast time telling their viewers about these and other stories of great interest to America's vast Judeo-Christian middle class — the "deplorables" sneered at by our elite news media, but whom WND serves?
Did Big City Newspapers like the Washington Post, the New York Times or the Los Angeles Times — newspapers that cater to arrogant east and west coast "elites" who look down on "fly-over country" where "smelly Walmart shoppers" live — use a drop of ink to talk about the moral decay that increasingly threatens our nation?
The answer to each of these questions is NO, NO and NO! Yet if WND is to continue covering these stories about anti-Christian bigotry and persecution, I really need your help.
[PLEASE DONATE NOW]
Make no mistake.
WND is close to the breaking point.
Our staff members — WND veterans who have accepted pay cuts to keep us in business but can't work for free — hope and pray that our readers will take our appeals seriously and act with urgency to help us financially if they can.
That's why I ask:
Will you make sure WND survives by helping us with a voluntary contribution of $15, $25, $35, $50, $100 or even more today?
Yes — you can go online and read WND every day for free. But unless our readers like you help us pay our bills, WND will not survive. That's the truth.
Thank you in advance for your help, and may God bless you.
David Kupelian Vice President and Managing Editor WND
P.S. The radical left literally thinks they must control the "news" — and that any upstart journalism organization that disagrees with their delusions and dares to expose their biases, elitist attitudes, propaganda and outright lies must be not only silenced, but destroyed.
Please don't let the socialist, radical, atheist left destroy WND.
They are using the propaganda tactics of despots to control what the American people read, see, hear and think. WND is a threat to them, because truth is always a threat to lies — and is ultimately more powerful. But we can continue to do the vital job of a free press only if our loyal readers keep the faith and help us when they can. Thank you so much for your help. |
