PERFECT LOVE, DELIVERED ON CHRISTMAS

Perfect Love, Delivered on Christmas

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isa 9:6 NIV

Picture yourself, center stage, in a large packed stadium. 

Already fearful of the large crowd's focus and what's going on, a spotlight is placed on us. 

Then, large screens descend and begin playing a movie of every sin we have committed or will commit. 

Every lie, theft, failure, flaw, hurtful, or harmful action we are ashamed of. 

All of the jealous, angry, bitter, selfish, unforgiving, resentful and negative thoughts, or bad feelings towards others, expressed or concealed for fear of rejection. 

Knowing everything, do you think the crowd would love, or reject us?

His Perfect Love knows us completely and loves us deeply.

The truth is, nothing is hidden from God. 

But He did not come to count our failures or to judge and reject us.

God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 2 Cor 5:19 NASB

Instead, He sent His gift of Perfect Love on Christmas to save us. 

He loves us so much that He wrapped His love in a baby, who would grow to be a man, all for the purpose of making us right with Him again.

"For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:10 NAS

God is offering you His Perfect Love this Christmas, and it cannot be earned; it must be freely received. 

It is only when all fear of His rejection and judgment have been cast out, that we know for sure we have received and believe in His Perfect Love.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. We love, because He first loved us. 1 John 4:18-19 NAS

God is offering you the gift of Jesus this Christmas. 

Do not fear, just believe and receive.
