Dear WND Reader,
Why is Google discriminating against Christians . . . while giving Muslims a free pass? I know that's a provocative question, but read on.
- Recently, the manager of a Christian ministry for military veterans tried to target his Google ads towards fellow Christians. Chad Robichaux, a celebrated U.S. Marine and founder of the Mighty Oaks Foundation, simply wanted to advertise for his ministry on YouTube (owned and controlled by Google).
- Instead, he found out something chilling: Google Ads informed him the word “Christian” was “unacceptable.” That's right: Robichaux even posted a screenshot showing how the word "Christian" was deemed by "Google Ads advertising policies" to be "unacceptable content as keyword." So, now a company (or even a Christian ministry) cannot target people based on whether or not they’re Christian? Said Robichaux: "We're not a political organization; we're a ministry that's called to serve the brokenhearted, and that's what we're trying to do. How do we operate as a Christian organization if we can't use the word 'Christian?'"
- Then, just as a test, Robichaux tried re-submitting the ad using the keyword “Muslim.” And, sure enough: it worked. No problems!
Back to our question: Why does Google deem the word "Christian" to be “unacceptable”... but not "Muslim"?
You and I both know the answer: This is yet another stunning chapter in Big Tech’s long history of anti-conservative, anti-Christian bias and outright discrimination.
But now consider the big picture. Big Tech mega-monopolies like Google and Facebook—who powerfully influence what tens of millions of Americans read, hear, and therefore think—are dedicated right now to accomplishing two very big missions:
One, swing the 2020 presidential election against Donald Trump and in favor of the Democratic Party's lunatic candidate of choice.
And two, try to totally and completely delegitimize, de-platform and silence conservative, Christian media voices . . . voices that represent the majority view in America, and that reliably inform the public about what is REALLY going on in this great but besieged nation!
As you know, WorldNetDaily was the first independent online news organization in the U.S., and is still one of the most influential and respected, at least to this nation's vast center-right population. For over 22 years, we have boldly and tirelessly reported on the critical stories that the "mainstream media" refuses to touch.
But our unabashed pro-American, pro-Constitution, Judeo-Christian worldview also succeeded in making us Public Enemy Number One in Big Tech’s war on the conservative media. . . and thus they’ve been relentlessly punishing WND, starving us of ad revenue, and burying our stories in search results for several years now – actually, ever since Donald Trump was elected president.
That’s why I’m humbly asking for your help today.
Will you stand up to defend conservative Christian journalism and fight back against Big Tech’s bullying tactics … by contributing just $15, $25, $50 or more to WND today?
Help us continue to research and report on the stories the mainstream media will not ever touch—like rampant voter fraud in all its forms, as well as Big Tech's campaign to defeat Trump in November 2020—stories you'll never read in the Washington Post or hear on CNN … and make sure we continue to get the vital truth in front of the American people while we still have our freedom.
[PLEASE DONATE]
Thank you so much for all your help, and may God bless you.
David Kupelian Vice President and Managing Editor WND
P.S. In their all-out quest to silence conservative Christian voices, Google and Facebook—which together control 90% of all online advertising—are starving sites like WND of virtually all of the ad revenue that once supported good journalism . . . so we’re counting on voluntary support from readers like you who partner with us. Please help us continue to report the stories that matter most.
Will you defend conservative Christian journalism and fight back against Big Tech monopolies by contributing just $15, $25, $50 or more to WND right away?
