AFTER SEVERAL ATTACKS, NORWAY MAYOR CALLS FOR MACHETE BAN

Says they have no place in Oslo, because there is no jungle there

(Voice of Europe) Oslo’s mayor Raymond Johansen, from the Social Democrat party wants to outlaw machetes after several incidents in the capital. He says Machetes have no place in Oslo or Norway, because there is no jungle there.

As Voiceofeurope wrote earlier, it was a brawl in Olso on Monday, where the police was told a machete was used, even though they didn’t find any. 

And it has been many incidents during the years were machete have been used in fights in Oslo.

The Mayor now have had enough. 

He says that the government have made a ban on machetes, but that “it goes so slowly”.
