WHAT LANGUAGE AM I SPEAKING?

What Language Am I Speaking?

Words build the image of victory or defeat in our imaginations.

“They have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do, and now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible,” (Gen. 11: 6 NIV). Good or bad? Yep. (see Numbers 14: 28).

James says the tongue is the rudder of our lives. 

We speak life when we speak faith words, God’s words. We speak death when we speak doubt words, the devils’ words. 

As Joyce Meyer says, we either resist or assist the enemy by our words.

King Asa was outnumbered two to one by the Cushite army. 

It looked like certain defeat. 

What did he say when he cried out to the Lord? 

“O Lord, there is no one besides You to help the powerless against the enemy. Help us, O Lord our God, for we rely on You, and in Your name, we have come against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God. Do not let a mere mortal prevail against You.” (2 Chron. 14:11, NIV).

He did not deny the problem. 

He magnified the Lord and His Name. 

The name of the Lord is a strong tower. 

So, the Lord struck down the Cushite army, and they fled.

Father, when the pressure is great, and the enemy is saying, this is never going to change. You can’t win this time, I can agree with him. 

Or I can say, I am more than a conqueror in Christ Who strengthens me. 

God is bigger than any mountain I must face. 

Let Your name be magnified. Amen.
