THE LORD DOES NOTHING WITHOUT REVEALING IT TO HIS PROPHETS

Amos 3:6-8

6 WHEN DISASTER COMES TO A CITY,

HAS NOT THE LORD CAUSED IT?

7 SURELY THE SOVEREIGN LORD DOES NOTHING

WITHOUT REVELING HIS PLAN

TO HIS SERVANTS THE PROPHETS.

8 THE LION HAS ROARED--

WHO WILL NOT FEAR?

THE SOVEREIGN LORD HAS SPOKEN--

WHO CAN BUT PROPHESY?

[The Word of God declares

that the Lord reveals his Wrath every day.

He is Sovereign over all His Creation;

He is in Total and Complete Control;

Even in His giving Satan control,

Under His supervision, at the Present Time.

Satan can do nothing without the permission of God.

The Lord has revealed through His prophets

His Plan and Purpose for mankind.

It is made clear in His Word, His gift to them.

It is His desire that all men be saved

By Repenting of their Sin

And allowing the shed blood of Christ Jesus

To wash them clean;

Allowing Christ to live in and through them.

All those who read the Word of God,

With understanding,

And have heard the Roar of the Lion

Of the Tribe of Judah,

Will fear and love God.

When you hear what He has spoken,

You are compelled to prophesy.]
