Friend, have you ever woken up at 3 o’clock in the morning and your mind is filled with all sorts of thoughts and worries and burdens?
All of us deal with the pressures that come in life. Anxiety and fear can creep in and trouble your mind.
The good news is you have a choice about how to respond to those thoughts.
You can invite them into your imagination and let them grow and develop, and ultimately wreak havoc.
Or you can declare war on those thoughts and replace them with things that are good, noble, true, and pure, like Philippians 4:8 tells us to do.
My good friend Levi Lusko has just written a book called
Levi writes very candidly about his own struggles, his personal battles, and the tools and Scriptures he’s used to deal with them.
It’s an amazingly insightful book, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
It doesn’t just touch on fear and anxiety. It deals with the internal battles that surround selfishness, depression, wasting time, narcissism, and self-defeat as well.
Tom, I challenge you to read I Declare War and see if you don’t come away changed.
