OCASIO-CORTEZ SAYS JESUS WAS A REFUGEE
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says that Jesus was just like those trying to enter our nation illegally. Meaning that Christ was in the same situation and that makes us very bad people for wanting a secure border. In fact, the total opposite is true. Jesus’ plight was the result of the very tyranny that is created by her kind of radical policies. Here’s the proof:
Jesus was native born and his parents were travelling within his own nation. Mary and Joseph were not trying to break laws to enter Israel illegally. The Bible says, “He came to his own and his own received him not.”-John 1:11
The reason they were forced to travel was globalism. That’s right. This is not a case of people fleeing their country for a better life. This was a case of foreign occupation displacing the rightful citizens of a nation and overruling their sovereignty by force of international law. The kind of laws Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to create in America forced Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem.
Luke 2: 1 And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. 2 This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. 3 So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city.
Furthermore, Israel had been repeatedly repopulated by people from other nations in order to take the Jews away from their traditions and dilute their national identity. The whole point was to hold on to power. This process, begun by King Antiochus, was known as Hellenization. It was so pervasive in the north that the area was called Galilee of the Gentiles. That is how Jesus found Jewish farmers raising pigs in the Gadarenes.
The Democrat Party believes these immigrants will vote for them. That is their simple priority. That is their Hellenization. If it could be proved they would vote Republican…the wall would be built by Democrats in a month.
It was all about raising taxes. The better example of who Mary and Joseph are like is the hard-working Americans who see their tax money given to people from other nations. Augustus wanted the world registered so he would know where to send their tax bill. That is precisely the point of this socialist re-engineering of America: the forced redistribution of money.
So if you feel for Joseph and Mary and Jesus in the Christmas story remember they were victimized by socialistic, globalism…not by patriots trying to protect their own land.
