FARM BILL SPENDING IS 80% FOR FOOD STAMPS

 

I was surprised to learn this week that even our children didn't know that the majority of the Farm Bill (80%) is food stamps. Please keep in mind when you hear or see media coverage of the 102 billion dollar Farm Program that 82 billion of it is food stamps. We really do need to rename this program the Food Security Bill.
