Pray, Vote, Stand Prayer Guide | Week six: Prayer for the Media
Sunday, October 28
Discernment. Pray that God would give His people great discernment in determining what media sources are trustworthy and what information to believe.
Scripture: Prov. 2; Heb. 5:12-14
Monday, October 29
News Media. Pray that God would open the eyes of those in the news media--reporters, journalists, and commentators--so that they will know and share the truth.
Scripture: John 8:31-47
Tuesday, October 30
Christian Media. Ask God to multiply and expand Christian media sources that have the courage to report and discuss the events of our time in the light of scriptural truth.
Scripture: Acts 5:12-16
Wednesday, October 31
Social Media. Pray that those who are seeking to control and manipulate the flow of information would be exposed and replaced.
Scripture: 2 Kings 6
Thursday, November 1
New Media. Pray that God would raise up and prosper new sources that are not conservative or liberal, but acknowledge and align with transcendent truth.
Scripture: Prov. 12:17-22
Friday, November 2
Attacks. Ask God to confound the producers and voices of those attacking biblical morality and truth in our culture. Pray that the unjust attacks on Christians and Christian ministries would be like the words of Balaam.
Scripture: Numbers 23:1-10; Acts 9:3-4
Saturday, November 3
Action. Ask God to break our hearts for what breaks His and for the Holy Spirit to lead us into action that will relieve the hurting and restore that which is broken.
