Family Research Council Action Launches Values Bus Tour Into Dozen States

WASHINGTON, DC -- Family Research Council Action, organizer of the Values Voter Summit, rolled out a Values Bus today that will travel into a dozen states between now and Election Day.

Stops will take place in states including Missouri, Indiana, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, California, Texas, Wisconsin, and Florida.

The tour kicks off this weekend at the Values Voter Summit, an event that has been attended by more than 2,000 grassroots activists from across the country.

On November 4, a national simulcast will be held at Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, CO. "The Event" will call on millions of values voters to "pray, to vote, to stand."

Family Research Council Action President Tony Perkins made the following comments:

"Over the next six weeks, the Values Voter Bus will travel across a dozen key states to encourage and equip voters to vote their values on Election Day. Values voters can determine whether this country stays on the path of greatness.

"The 'Values Bus Tour' and 'The Event' simulcast will mobilize values voters to take a stand for the values that made America a great nation. So many issues are at stake in this election --- religious freedom, sanctity of life, the family, and limited government.

When America is strong, the world is more prosperous and a better place.

"We are asking values voters to take a pledge for the sake of America: a pledge to pray, to vote and to stand," concluded Perkins.
