JUL 31, 2018 Something is dreadfully wrong Dear Friend,  As Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh continues to meet with senators in advance of the confirmation hearings, he’s already been written off by most liberals.  Tellingly, Senator Charles Schumer said, “This is one of the most important positions in the world.” If it is such an important position, shouldn’t they at least meet with Justice Kavanaugh? But the fact is, our founders never intended for a justice of the Supreme Court to have “one of the most important positions in the world.” Yet in recent decades, the Left has been using the power of the judiciary to circumvent the democratic process.  In that sense, the Left has made nine justices of the Supreme Court some of the most powerful people in the world.  Judges who issue edicts that tell us whether or not the natural rights guaranteed to us in the Constitution are still intact—even finding new “rights” that no one else saw for 200 years.
