GREAT NEW FILM - IN CAN ONLY IMAGINE

Hi Friend,    A few months ago, Hollywood received quite a shock. It was a real eye-opener when a new faith-based movie financially outperformed all of the films that were nominated for an Oscar. The movie I’m referring to is I Can Only Imagine—a film that tells the story of Bart Millard, the lead singer of the band MercyMe who wrote the hit song that we’ve all heard and been touched by. As I said, Hollywood was surprised by the resounding success of this film . . . but I wasn’t! When I first saw it, before it was released to the public, I knew it was going to be a smash hit—not just because it was incredibly acted and filmed, but because it moved me. There is one scene in particular that shows the transformation in the life of Bart’s father that still chokes me up, even though I’ve seen it at least eight times. It just reminds you of the power of God to change lives—He can reach anyone!
