Please pray for our SPLC lawsuit
Dear Tom,
You do not have, because you do not ask.
These are the words of Jesus’ brother James, in his New Testament epistle (James 4). The context demands that we recognize James was correcting the apparent worldliness of believers. But the principle remains: we lack many things because we do not ask the Lord for them.

I write today, because we need to do some asking.
On Tuesday May 29th, I will be joining our attorneys in a Federal District courtroom in Montgomery, Alabama for oral arguments in our lawsuit against the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and Amazon.

This is a crucial opening round in our effort to force the SPLC to stop its false and defamatory inclusion of D. James Kennedy Ministries on its so-called Hate Map.

Equally important is the suit’s allegation of discrimination against Amazon, who argues they can discriminate against anyone they choose to.

Our landmark suit is an effort to right a terrible wrong against Christians and Christian churches. And make no mistake about it: it is the Gospel itself that is in the crosshairs of the SPLC.
The focus on Tuesday will be largely procedural, so here is the specific and simple prayer request:

That the Lord of the universe would give us favor with the presiding judge, Myron Thompson.

Friends, we do not have because often we do not ask. Please join us in asking the favor of the Most High God.

Sincerely,
