THE DEMAND FOR A SIGN

Matthew 16:1-4

The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus

And Tested Him by asking him

To show them a Sign form Heaven.

2 He replied,

'When evening comes, you say,

'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,'

3 And in the morning,

'Today if will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.'

YOU KNOW HOW TO INTERPRET THE APPEARANCE OF THE SKY

BUT YOU CANNOT INTERPRET THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES.

4 A WICKED AND ADULTEROUS GENERATION

LOOKS FOR A MIRACULOUS SIGN,

BUT NONE WILL BE GIVEN IT

EXCEPT THE SIGN OF JONAH.'

Jesus then left them and went away.

(Matthew 16:1-4)

The Pharisees and Sadducees knew

That Jesus was performing Miracles

That no one had ever done before,

Yet, this was not sufficient for them.

They wanted a Sign given specifically to them.

Christ Jesus calls them a Wicked and Adulterous Generation

In looking for an Additional Sign.

They were to get they Ultimate Sign;

Christ Jesus would Rise form the Dead,

And even then they would Not Believe.

Today, do most Christians understand the Signs of the Times?

Do they understand

That we are living in the Last of the Last Day of Time?

Today, the Unbelieving will receive a Sign;

It will be the Sign of the work of Satan

And they will believe it and follow him--

THE WHOLE WORLD,

Except those whose names

Are written in the Lamb's Book of LIFE.
